NOVICES
A competitor who has a National 'A' Licence but has only competed on short circuits will be considered a novice and carry a plate, until the time 4 signatures have been received from a MSA Steward for competing on long circuits. A novice plate will consist of a yellow plate 20cm x 20cm with a black diagonal cross, with strokes 15cm x 2.5cm.
Please note that any 210 National class drivers, who are current MSA National "A" or "B" Licence holders but NOT members of the 210 Short Circuit Challenge, may race in certain 210 Challenge Short Circuit events upon payment of an additional £10 GUEST FEE per meeting. Novice drivers ("B" Licence holders) are always welcome!
Guest drivers are also welcome in the 210 Long Circuit Challenge but they must be equipped with leather suits, have a kart which is fully compliant with Long Circuit regulations and be the holder of an MSA Kart National "A" Licence. If they have not done 4 Long Circuit meetings already they must also display a yellow plate with the diagonal black "X" on the rear of their kart.
If you are learning to race a 210 kart and you have not yet taken your ARKS test you are not permitted to drive in any 210 Challenge races. However, if you wish to gain experience, you are able to drive in the Short Circuit Saturday practice sessions (without an MSA Kart Racing Licence) provided that the event is not restricted to just "A" Licence holders. If you are not sure about the status of the event drop me an Email and I will let you know.
