You have a log book for your car to prove your ownership. There is even a National Registration Scheme for Caravans. So what about your Karting Equipment????

The National Kart Registration Scheme (NKRS) is an extremely low cost solution that is here to help. So what are the benefits of registering your kart with us?

1. FOR OWNERS OF KART EQUIPMENT

We hold a database of owners of karting equipment throughout the UK. The kind of information that is held by us includes information such as chassis numbers, engine numbers and so forth. If you are registered with us and your equipment is stolen, report it to us and we will regularly search the database to see if it turns up at a later date, absolutely free of charge. Furthermore, we will contact all major karting clubs in the UK and ask they alert their scrutineers to your stolen equipment. All members of the scheme wil also be emailed with details of stolen equipment. This really is a LOW COST solution. The fees are £5.50 to register with us. This includes 1 chassis and 1 engine. For any other additional item (spare engines etc.) there is an additional fee of £1. This subscription is for a 12 month period, and the renewal fee for a further 12 month period is £3 plus £1 for additional items. An email will be sent to you when your renewal is due

2. FOR SELLERS OF EQUIPMENT

What better selling aid to your prospective purchasers than to advertise that your equipment is registered with us, and that we will confirm to your purchaser that you are the registered owner.

3. FOR BUYERS OF EQUIPMENT

For a fee of just £3, we can verify that the information submitted to us is correct. Please ask the seller if the equipment is registered with us, and if it is, we will confirm (or refute) that the seller has previously registered the equipment with us. 

When you make your initial registration, you will receive waterproof stick-on lables to attach to your kart to deter any would-be thief.
